Ideal for anyone who just wants to play football for fun, Walking Football opens the door for players who haven’t played before or for those who want to continue playing, or want to return to the game.

Led by our female coaches in a safe and non-judgemental environment, the session will include a warm up, introduce basic skills, as well as an opportunity to play a match.

The slower pace makes Walking Football a great way to start playing football. For all kinds of people, Walking Football means getting together, having fun, and getting active.

Please note: When booking on our Class for Kids system you will have to create a profile to book. This will involve you filling out details as if you are a parent and then when asked about your child you will fill out the same details about yourself – therefore making a mini me profile.

Where and when does it take place?
The session takes place on our fantastic 3G training pitches located behind the stadium!

What do I need?
Plenty of water and suitable clothing. Leggings, tracksuit bottoms, T-shirt and shorts are fine. We advise you to bring layers so you can take off or add according to the weather.
Astroturf boots or football boots are recommended but NO METAL STUDS will be allowed. Shin pads are also highly recommended.

Will there be refreshments available?
A range of refreshments will be available to purchase from our Broomfields Bar & Kitchen.

What happens if it is raining?
With one of the best all-weather FIFA Quality 3G pitches in the UK, We’ve had two sessions cancelled in our 10 years plus of operation and that was due to a mountain of snow! Rain or shine we’ll be running and open as usual!

You MUST book in advance. Participants can join at any time during the term by booking online.
