Welcome to Bromley FC Girls' Football Holiday Camp Please ensure that you only book GIRLS on this camp. If the mixed camp is full we will not be able to transfer boys over and your place will not be refunded. All places are non-refundable. Each player will be allocated to a group of girls who are a similar age to them. For just £10 extra and running from 3pm – 4:30pm our ‘Xtra-Time Club’ will consist of a range of activities including, but not limited to, the likes of arts & crafts, stadium tours & a range of indoor activities (including table tennis and pool) to help them wind down after a productive day in the camp. The morning session will involve learning skills such as passing, dribbling and defending in a fun and engaging way. In the afternoon we will be looking at learning some more skills and then putting these into practice by playing matches in their age range. Where and when does it take place? The Girls Football Holiday Camp will run from 9am to 3pm on each of the days listed for girls aged 6 to 11 years of age. The Girls Only camp takes place within the same facility that our first team train and play in – on our super safe, child friendly 3G rubber crumb pitches, which are the best all weather pitches in the borough! If you have booked a mixed holiday camp but your child would now like to attend the girls only camp please email andrea.ellis@bromleyfc.co.uk Address: Bromley Football Club, Hayes Lane, Bromley, Kent BR2 9EF What does my child need? A packed lunch along with plenty of drink and suitable clothing. A change of clothing must be provided if poor weather is expected or occurring. T-shirt and shorts are fine in better weather, but we advise parents to bring along tracksuits and warm clothes as the weather can change quickly! Trainers or football boots are acceptable but NO METAL STUDS are allowed. Shin pads should also be worn. Please label all of your child’s belongings clearly. Weather policies Rain/Poor weather: With the best all weather pitches in the borough we’ve had one session cancelled in our 8 years of operation, and that was due to a mountain of snow, which is extremely unlikely at this time of year! Rain or shine, we’ll be running and open as usual! Please note, we expect you to provide your child with a waterproof jacket. If poor weather is occurring/expected you MUST provide your child with a change of clothes. They will then be able to swap to dry clothes in the event of getting wet. Failure to provide this would result in a member of staff calling the named parent/carer to drop off a spare set or to pick the child up to avoid illness. Hot/Sunny weather: In the event of hot weather, you should ensure you apply sun cream to your child before arriving at the stadium. You should also leave a bottle of sun cream in your child’s bag. Should they need it, they will be able to apply it themselves under the supervision of a coach. Please note the permission section for this in the booking form. We will be using the covered stand area to house the children at dropoff, break, lunch and pick up times. This has been tried and tested in recent months and has worked perfectly. How do I book? Following the popularity of our most recent camps, parents are encouraged to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Children will enjoy football in a safe environment and will be coached by female DBS checked and FA qualified coaches. Refunds: Please note, spaces are non-refundable. Should your child not be able to attend a given day, you can request a change of date by emailing community@bromleyfc.co.uk.
